The Bassmaster Elite Series just wrapped up stop #2 on the Series and it was quite the tournament on Lake Seminole. Just when you thought the tournament would play out to be beatdown on shallow water fish, Joey Cifuentes found a group of fish offshore to win his first Elite title.
Offshore fishing sure has seemed to dominate the last two tournaments which were highly speculated to be shallow water tournaments and so for this week’s ‘The Catch’, I am going to dive into a little bit of the forward facing sonar dilemma.
But, let’s dive into our Rapala Fantasy Fishing update for the “DockTalkWV Fantasy Fishin” group!
First up winning the second event on Lake Seminole in the Rapala Fantasy Fishing side of things was Matt Myers who racked up a total of 1,138 points.
But leading the charge in points is Roger Taylor who has a combined total of 2,170 points and holds the lead by a little over 30 points.
Winning week #2 with Mercury Drain the Lake Challenge was Todd Layne who racked up 1,631 points to grab the lead.
But holding onto the overall lead in the Drain the Lake Challenge is Kyle Estep with 3,220 points. (He is first despite the ranking showing second).
