Just when you might think you have an advantage over JC on Sutton because you didn’t think he would make it you would’ve thought wrong. Christopher made a 10 hour journey from Smith Lake, Alabama on Friday to make it to blast-off this morning on Saturday just in time to kick off the 2022 Trail of Dreams Pro-Am Season. He would then go on to drop 14-15 on the scales anchored by two 4+ pound fish to win the tournament.
Dedication is what you would call his effort today to make it. I was certainly was blown away he told me he was going to Burnsville right after he won to practice for another tournament tomorrow.
Taking the win on the Co-Angler Side was Derek Stanley from Hurricane, WV. He had 3 fish that weighed 4-14 and edge out second place by an ounce and took home the win.
